Alysha R. Johnson is an artist local to the Jacksonville area in Florida. She attended the
University of North Florida for a BFA in Ceramics, minoring in Painting and Drawing. She’s
interested in mixed media; exploring screen printing, wood, metal, paper, glaze, engobe and
plaster to display and enhance her ceramic art. She’s inspired by ceramic artists and sculptors;
Ravinder Reddy and Jun Kaneko. Her paintings are inspired by acrylic painter, Cristina Troufa.
Alysha is actively exploring realism, surrealism, and figurative speech in her sculptures and
paintings. She focuses mainly on hand building pouring and serving vessels and the decorating
process for every piece
